AMD /AMDL Pairs Trade

AMD has had some of the biggest chop over the past few months and we’re going to try to profit off that chop. Long dated AMDL options aren’t very liquid so I had to pay up to be synthetically short, but I have a plan to make that back so the short carry costs are eliminated.

TSLA / TSLL Pairs Trade

Starting this fresh for the second half of 2026 and has been the best performing pairs trade in my book. Ratio stands at 16 short shares of TSLL for 1 long share of TSLA to be perfectly delta neutral on a daily P/L basis.

The beta slippage on this pair has produced annualized ROIs in excess of 80% in the first half and have no reason not to expect this to continue.

VXX PMCP Dec

Buying the just OTM Puts for Dec and selling weeklies against makes a long calendar, but management of this trade will change as it matures. This can easily be a 100% winner before it is over.

This trade presents itself 6x per year (once every 2 months or so) so I’m using up to 25% of my net liq for each open. Shouldn’t have more than 3x open at any one time.
